Special Interest Groups

Our Special Interest Groups (SIGs) bring together professionals, academics and practitioners to advance operational research across key sectors and themes. Each SIG focuses on a specific area of OR, creating a space for shared knowledge, collaboration and practical insight.

SIGs support knowledge exchange, innovation and best practice through a programme of webinars, workshops and events. Members can stay up to date with new developments, explore ideas and connect with others working in similar fields.

These groups offer strong opportunities for networking, mentorship and professional development.

All SIGs and Networks are volunteer-led, so activity levels and communications may vary. Each group delivers at least two events per year, promoted through a fortnightly mailing list you can subscribe to.

Join a Special Interest Group today – you can be part of more than one.
