Create a performance dashboard that integrates and visualises the performance data held in two separate customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
The main benefits are to provide a better evidence base and buy-in for strategy, leading to improved operations. It is also expected that there will be benefits in relation to fundraising and income sustainability.
Off the Fence Trust works to support vulnerable and marginalised people in Brighton. They provide a diverse range of services to women and young people. Currently, they have two CRM systems that are used to record interactions with clients and donors. They wish to develop a performance reporting dashboard that uses the data in the CRM systems to present performance information to the Chief Officer and Finance teams.
The project is likely to comprise the following stages:
Ideally, the volunteer will develop a dashboard tool, but an alternative may be to recommend an off-the-shelf solution*. The volunteer will be working with IT and data-literate staff at Off The Fence. They have investigated Power BI but feel the learning curve is too steep for it to be a viable option.
